These reports are designed to meet the needs of customers who need assurance about the controls at a service organization relevant to financial controls, operations & IT and business processes that are tied to their financial reporting. Informatica has successfully achieved SOC 1 Type II compliance. This validates that our customers can meet their financial reporting obligations effectively with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) controls. SOC 1 reports can only be distributed to existing customers and their auditors, not prospects. If a service organization’s clients have their financials audited, a SOC1 report gives those Customers' auditors assurance that proper controls are implemented, operational and effective.
